Movies and other
In the past few weeks I have seen a number of movies played alot of horizons and worked.
I’ve seen King Arthur, Chronicles of Riddck, Man on fire and I, Robot.
King arthur – It was very different from all other king arthur related movies I have seen in the past with the exception that there were people on horses with swords. In general It was an enjoyable movie to watch, sad in parts Its biggest downside was..despite being so different to every other version of king arthur I have seen it was predictable. There were a few laughs and some nice fights as well. I rate it 3 Thumbs up,
Chronicles of Riddick – Let me start this entry saying I hate Vin Disel. He absolutely loves himself and most of his movies are focused on making him look good. Now that thats out the way the movie was good. The action sequences where well done, special effects as well especially on the elemental and the plot of the movie was good. As much as I do hate vin disel he seems to do a decent action flick. I will give it 3 Thumbs up
Man on fire – This movie is not one for the ladies, unless of course they like a little bit of core. It stars Denzel Washington someone who I think is a great actor, its a very emotive movie with some great lines and a good story. I give this 4 thumbs up.
I, Robot – I enjoyed this movie alot the special effects where great it got you thinking as well, the action was good and it was full of surpises. IMO the special effects where very very seamless even though there was CG every where it blended in so well with the background it was truly beautiful to see. Had a great car chase seen, good story (der) and nice plot twists. Another 4 thumbs up here.
Ok now the dodgey movie reviews are out of the way…
I got my DSL put on yesturday and even though I have only been on dsl for the past 4 hrs at home it was so much more plesant than dialup.
Works been work.
