Star Wars Episode 3

I attended the first possible episode of this movie in my area a 12:01am session on thursday 19th of May. I enjoy going to these sessions not just because its the first but because you know there are other fans there and all the non fans wont be near it. It is also funny to see people who have dressed up as star wars characters.
This movie was the final installment of the pretrilogy showing how Anakin Skywalker went from being a Good man and Jedi to being Darth Vader the opposite of which. He turned to try and save a loved one which he didn’t get to do anyway well the combined with a deception.
I thought the movie was much better than the previous two movies and on par with the originals. The greatest weakness of this movie were the scenes between Anakin and Padme, not sure if it was the script or the actors but the lovey dovey scenes all seemed extremely forced and unnatural.
The movie featured some great special effects which you would expect of a Lucas film although some places that used special effects really shouldn’t have. You will know the ones I mean when you see them. The lightsabre battles were awesome there are 5 and some of them are exceptional the one between Darth Vader and Obi-wan is one of the fastest and longest lightsabre fights in any of the movies it was great to watch.
All in all I enjoyed this movie it tied up loose ends between the trilogies and was much better than episode 1 or 2.
