Here’s an update

It has been a while since my last update, some months in face. In that time I have watched numerous movies, tv shows and spent much time playing games, working and seeing friends.

Movies
Ghostrider – Ghostrider is a comic adaptation movie, it had some nice special effects a comic book story, stared Nicholas Cage and wasn’t too bad. 3/5 thumbs up

Wild Hogs – Wild Hogs was a story of 4 middle aged guys in the US who decide to road trip across the country and get into some whacky fun. Staring John Revola, William H Macey, Martin Laurance, Tim Allen and Marrisa Torme it was a good watch and made me laugh a lot, wasn’t what I expected going in but I enjoyed it 3.7/5 thumbs up Spider-man 3 – The third part in the spiderman trilogy was more of the web slinging crime fighter will less substance than either of the previous flicks. The movie was almost 3 hours long and tried to cram too many plots into that time, so much so that almost nothing got resolved..combine that with a rather lame EMO spider-man segment and it dragged the movie down. The special effects were pretty as usually but all the fight scenes were too fast to follow and you ended up feeling dizzy. What is worse is that spidermans worst enemy..Venom got barely any screen time. IMHO this would have been better split into 2 different movies resolving the issues with one or two of the super villans in the first movie and venom in the last. I was looking forward to this one and it let me down 1.5/5 thumbs up. Pirates 3 – The third part of this trilogy as well. It was way better than spider-man 3 but also felt like they crammed too much into a short amount of time. Jack wasn’t nearly as prominent as in previous movies and I think the feel suffered for that. It was a better watch than spiderman but not as good as wild hogs 3/5 thumbs up. Fantastic 4: Rise of the silver surfer – I saw this on the weekend it wasn’t bad..it wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad the special effects were good and the story ok..not exactly true to the comic (silver surfer doesn’t get his power from his board) but it was better than spiderman so 3/5 thumbs up.TV
Lots of TV has been watched by this little black duck and much downloaded. I finished watching smallville, supernatural 24 and Heroes as they have all ended for the year and all have been mostly enjoyable. Jack Bauer is the man, Heroes is great an Lana should die. I have also been downloading as I mentioned before shows I used to watch as a kid and some I haven’t so I have watched 3 types of spider-man cartoon, fantastic four and then other shows Sliders seasons 3-5, Rome season 1-2, Deadwood season 1-3, Andromeda season 1-5 (I bought this), the dresden files and Firefly again… Damn that is a lot of TV watching if I spent as much time doing anything else I could acheive much. Oh I have also been watching Dr Who each week.

More games for the collection..Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Immortal Throne addon to titan quest, Supreme commander, jade empire, The godfather: the game, far cry, dues ex and something else I think..barely played most of those but I will get to them Uni
I dropped out of Uni, after submitting the first two assignments and remembering a due one the day it was due I decided I don’t have the inclination to study at uni..so i dropped out..it hurt the wallet but oh well money can be replaced. Work
Work is work, I have created some useful tools for some customers that relate to our products that has made them happy, I have also made some utilities for us to use to help mange sites and stuff they have saved a lot of time with some things. The company I work for is doing well so I am getting a bonus which will be good.Been spending time with friends doing all sorts of stuff..umm yeah I think thats enough for now.
