I was browsing digg today on my lunch break as I often do and found this

Damn thats a lot of work but it looks good.

Also during my lunch break I picked up 2 8gb usb keys from WoW and a kebab mmm tasty.

I hate mondays and I miss the weekend.

I watched a bit of classic dr who this weekend, some sg-1 and shoot em up again it was pretty good..also played some hellgate london which is fun but shits me at times when it crashes in the middle of kicking some arse and i have to play through the same levels over and over again.

Well I worked back last night fortunately only 30 mins not too pleased about that. When I got home I watched some classic Dr Who and stuffed around a little on facebook ate some reheated pizza. Later on Raina came over and we watched the Shawshnk Redemption, we had both had a few questions on it on facebook when doing the movie quiz and she had read the book a few weeks ago and bought  the dvd last week.

I enjoyed the Shawshank redemption, Morgan Freeman was great as usual and while I am not a fan of Tim Robbins he was good in the movie. I give it 4.2 thumbs up

After Raina Left I played Hellgate london until about 4:30 then went to bed.

Well another day and I am at work..damn I hate work.

Last night I went to Raina’s and we had some nachos and watched some very funny Boston Legal and Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles.

TSCC is ok, Summer Glau is good as a Terminator, Lena Headly however and the way the writers are portraying Sarah Conner is not ok. Sarah Conner wouldn’t be concerned about killing someone to protect John, She would be concerned if she killed them too slow or made it too drawn out. The Sarah Conner from Terminator was hardcore not this soft whiner (who finally beat someone down) the writers so far haven’t exactly been portraying Sarah Conner, I hope the episodes to come do a better job. Sarah Conner is Hardcore Tough and would willingly enter a fight with anyone and kill anyone who tried to hurt John.

Firstly.. new blog software used to be MT now WP, congrats to the WP guys for making the import so easy.

Last night I went and saw Juno, Its a comedy about a teenage pregnancy it has good acting and great comic delivery and I really enjoyed it I give it a 4.2/5 thumbs up

I recently reinstalled my machine which allowed me to once more play games I have been playing BioShock and Hellgate London, the latter is made by the same people that made Diablo II and it is a similar kind of game with some similar things, skill tree’s normal, enhanced, rare, legendary and unique items, personal relocation devices (town portaly) the combat is more interactive and you have a few options with how to play the character there are also 6 classes. Bioshock is fun as well..

Raina and I went and saw Beowulf last night we had seen the previews and thought that it could either be very good or very bad. Turns out is was just very “Interesting”.

Neither of us realised before we went in that the movie was entirely CG every character in the movie was a CG character based on a actor. The story was good although a little drawn out and the CG was pretty amazing..but movies where they try to do every single character in CG don’t work for me. One thing that was super annoying was the fact that because they could they use weird and stupid angles that you wouldn’t touch ordinarily they did. Additionally because they can do anything they want and they can ignore reality they do..they ask you to suspend disbelief a little too much. Monsters, dragons, demons, heroes I can all get behind being in a movie..but some of what was in this movie was more than a little daft.

When we got home we looked the movie up in imdb to see who played what and had a laugh at the plot keywords. “Impalement / Stabbed In The Arm / Sliced In Two / Shield / Burning City” the list goes on it made us chuckle.

All in all I think i will give it a 2.5 thumbs up.

The weekend is gone.. it was entertaining.

Friday I left work early using flexitime which was good, went to Raina’s on friday for dinner and watched superman returns which was also good.

I spent a bit of time watching the 4400 season 1 and up to episode 10 of season2..When it first aired here I didn’t watch it but I am actually enjoying it. I also bought ghost rider, hot fuzz, scarface and transformers the game. I watched ghost rider it was ok and hot fuzz cracked me up. I couldn’t install transformers it seems to require XP ..yet another game my machine meets the reqs for and I can’t play this is really annoying me. I might have to get XP soon

I did some other stuff as well helped Raina a little with some of her stuff, played pool last night at the coffs as well as some pokies at the RSL.

Umm yeah I’ll leave it at that.

It has been a while since my last update, some months in face. In that time I have watched numerous movies, tv shows and spent much time playing games, working and seeing friends.

I realised when I saw someone talking about their blog that I hadn’t posted in a while its not that I haven’t had plenty to rant about it takes effort.

For those who are watching and for some reason might care or at least want to read what i have been up to it can pretty much be summarised and not much. Since the last post I have watched a shitload of heroes, prisonbreak, 24, xmen the animated series season 1-5, some BL, some gg, mutant x (i don’t know why) and 2.3 seasons of trek tng. I have been going to play free pool most tuesdays and sunday nights at times playing upto 20 games in a night and it hasn’t helped.

I have also been spending time with mates seeing a few movies and have enrolled at uni although I haven’t done any work yet. Speaking of work i worked last Sunday and will be again this Sunday..damn why did I agree to that. Work still sucks i worked out today that i haven’t had a pay rise in 20ish months despite my responsibilities and duties increasing oh well.

Okay now you are back I want to voice my opinion on this. I think the size 12 model looks great, she looks like a woman should, she has curves and a smile which everyone is entitled to, while I personally prefer a brunettes she is attractive yet the judges told her she was too fat..WTF!, the other girl depicted looks awful, she looks androgynous sickly her bones are visible her stick limbs are unattractive, yet this girl was told she was perfect.

FUCK YOU FASHION INDUSTRY, you bastards are a huge part of the reason women have so many problems with their image you constantly bombard them with these androgynous stick insect UGLY AS HELL women and tell them that men want this. NEWS FLASH ARSEHOLES men don’t. If a man is out on the street and he is checking out a woman chances are he will be looking at
a) her arse..and it wont be flat and non existant
b) her chest and it wont be flat and non existant
c) her legs and they won’t be sticks that extend from her flat arse
d) Some other feature that is womanly.

The editors, photographers, graphic artists, model head hunters, reporters for all the womens magazines that throw these ugly stick insect creatures at people all the time should have their skin peeled off, be rolled in salt, lashed, drawn and quartered then really really hurt. They are doing all women a disservice by telling them they need to look like this “models”

I would rather see a real woman on the cat walk than a stick figure were I to ever look at a cat walk..I can’t speak for everyone but I’m pretty sure the same can be said for many people.
